Brockville is located within the North American temperate zone, which enjoys four distinct seasons. The Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River moderate the temperature and humidity of the City along with the rest of Southern Ontario. The changing of the seasons brings great extreme into Brockville's climate. In the summer months, the daily high temperature averages 26°C (79°F), but reaches as high as 35°C (95°F). In the winter months, high temperatures average around -3°C (27°F).
